Assessbank fully supports multiple languages for all components of a client’s item bank including passages and items. Item authors can easily switch using a drop-down menu between language versions of items in the same way as candidates can during an exam. Assessbank stores all items with language versions together, as such French and English items are together/integrated to minimize toggling between a French bank and an English bank (i.e., separate banks of items for English and French are not necessary).

Assessbank allows for both semi-automated and manual test assembly. Administrative users can search for items within their bank based on item folders or by searching for items within the bank. Alternatively, clients can provide a list of items to For Good Measure that should be included on an exam form which can be uploaded into Assessbank. Assessbank allows for randomization of question order to reduce the potential for collusion detection. All items and exams with Assessbank have detailed scoring algorithms that can be configured to accommodate any exam program. Exam form engineering services (that use techniques to create exam forms that meet all exam specification requirements) are provided through For Good Measure psychometric services.

The Assessbank system allows for vetting and editing of the final tests in all language versions. Exams can be previewed within Assessbank that displays the exam in the same way candidates would see the exam.
